Shineh Moon - Advocate for Education and Community Service

Shineh Moon has built a life focused on personal growth, community service, and a deep commitment to childhood education. She believes that engaging, experiential, and responsible learning helps children to reach their full potential and this has inspired her to pursue a master's degree in education at the University of Southern California. Shineh Moon enjoys creating fun and impactful learning environments that incorporate creativity and real-world experiences to model positive behavior.

Her commitment to service began with a high school project in Thailand, where she helped build a school and collected educational supplies for underserved communities. It taught her the joy of helping others, which Shineh Moon carries into her current work as a management consultant. She aspires to establish a network of community centers that provide essential resources like food, housing, and educational support for those facing homelessness and victims of domestic violence.

In her personal time, Shineh finds solace in nature and often plans camping trips with her son. She views nature as a source of clarity and healing. She also occasionally enjoys acrylic painting, particularly landscapes that blend reality with imaginative elements. Additionally, she enjoys cooking for loved ones and studying spirituality through authors like Eckhart Tolle and Paulo Coelho.
